The second part of our Christmas vacation was spent up in Wyoming with my fam! :) And it was soooo cold! Especially coming from Texas!

Post that riding experience, we learned to wear a scarf so as to protect the cheeks!
Addy had gotten a little of the beginnings of frostbite, so we did good bundling
after that whenever we braved the cold! |

Since the weather was in the teens during the day, the boys, helped by Dad,
got a pump so they could pump water out of the river to the bank in order to make a
skating rink. It turned out pretty well and provided lots of hours of entertainment! |

Buckets for those of us taking a rest from skates to keep off of the snow!
And a fire on the ice... you know just to keep things interesting :) and warm! It makes for some interesting textures the day after when all of the melted water freezes again!

Court took Addy for a sliding ride. He was on ice skates and she had boots on. She loved it and kept asking to do it again and again!
When Court ran out of gas, Addy hit Cam up for more rides! :)

Here's another version of our little marshmallow missy! The things you put up with to keep warm! Barely being able to see and having your arms stuck straight out at right angles :)
Grandma Jones was smart and got herself a personal heater (Bryant) for company!
After warming up and eating some dinner, they were off again, bundled up to keep the snow and cold out while they went sledding!
There were three sleds hooked to the back of Court's truck, and they took rides down by Merlin's
